It happened to me 5 months ago while I was working with one client, who sells fitness supplements. 

I wrote about his supplement with these topics: "optimal muscle synthesis" and "recovery protocols," and just giving info after info.

And we got exactly 0 sales in 1st week lol.

Then I research my client's previous customers and read their comments.

The most common saying was, "My arms are small, and I hate it." "I'm tired of looking weak."

I rewrote the copy using their exact words. Then conversions jumped 340%.

Same product. But with different words.

Here, the lesson is: Most copywriters skip research because it feels boring. 

They guess what customers want. And they're always wrong. 

So, stop writing. Start asking questions.

Find five people who bought the product. Ask why. Write down their exact words. 

Use them in your copy.
