Everyone asks me: "Bro, which protein powder do you use?"
My answer is:
None!
I don't take protein powder.
Never have. Never will.
Cause our grandparents built strong, functional bodies on whole foods alone, with no fancy protein powder & over hyped creatine.
Just dal, roti, milk, eggs, paneer, and dahi.
And they were stronger than most gym guys today.
During that time, the supplement industry emerged.
They realised that if they can make you feel like you're falling behind without their product, you'll keep buying.
So they manufactured insecurity:
"You're not getting enough protein."
"You need 200g of protein per day."
"Without supplements, you'll stay weak."
But most people don't need supplements if their diet is solid.
Whole foods have nutrients that work together in ways supplements can't replicate.
Dal has fibre, protein, and micronutrients.
Paneer has protein, calcium, and fats.
So, here's what I do instead:
I eat paneer 5 times a week. 25-30g protein per serving.
I eat dal twice a day. 10-15g protein per meal.
I eat dahi daily. 4-5g protein.
I eat soya chunks 3 times a week. 15-20g protein.
On good days? I hit 50-70g protein.
Recommended: 80-100g.
So instead of buying protein powder, I filled the gap with roasted unsalted peanuts. 2-3 handfuls per day. That's 12-18g protein.


And my recommendation was fulfilled.
₹110 for a 320g pack. Lasts 10-12 days.
Compare that to protein powder: ₹2000-3000 for 1kg. Same protein. But excessive chemicals.
So, track your protein first. Fix the gap with real food. Cause real food works. Your grandparents proved it.
