Yo,
It was almost 1:30 AM, and I reached my boarding station.
The train was already 3 hours delayed.
It made me feel: “When did I book this train ticket, delayed lol?”
Well, exactly 10 hours before the actual time, I remembered..
And on this trip, I made a promise to myself: “I will collect people's notes and experiences.”
So I bought this:
A MINI POCKET DIARY!
I was happy to start it at 1:30 AM lol. I got a side lower berth in 3rd AC for that night, for the next 6 hours.
And the funny thing is, in front of me there were 6 people: one whole boy group, and one guy with no ticket.
Total 7….
They were talking like gangsters and having fun.
I wanted to talk, but I was feeling a little awkward, cause i tried multiple times to talk to them..
But I can’t..
It might be because I look like a kid, which made me realise: next trip I will go with a moustache and beard like this lol:
To look a little older..
And with a jacked body and masculine energy for sure, haha.
So I didn't ask them anymore for their experience.
Because before I could ask, one guy came to my seat and sat on my foot.
I asked: "Yo bro, hello, what's your seat number?"
He said: "It's this one. There’s a family is operating to get their stuff done, so I am just waiting for them to finish; then I can go sleep in my seat."
I said: “ok, cool.”
So I just talked with him for 10mins.
And at one point I said: "Bro, I need a little favour. I am starting something new on this trip: collecting people's experiences. You will be the first one. Just write something on this paper that you would want to say to your 20-year-old self."
Before pitching this, I knew he was 27. And I think I said a lot in one moment.
I might have said less.
First he smiled and, being a little shy, looked at me.
Then I said, "Just take your time and write anything."
And he didn't write.
But he said, "Just be in control. Control yourself."
He might be saying it according to the situation.
But I take it as a lesson lol. Also, he made me realise it's not the right time to ask.
That's the whole point.
It’s 1.30 am of midnight, people are half-asleep as fuck, and you’re asking fr their life advice…
Negative…..
So, the lesson is to go and ask people where the environment and time are right for sales or your services.
And don't be desperate and needy.
