I was reading the Ogilvy on Advertising book the other day, and one word made me stop for a second.

I was like:

Then, after reading the whole concept, I realised that's something interesting. And it will be good to share with you cause you're on my private elite list.

So, that word was "Moonlighting."

No, not Moonlight and definitely not Marvel's Moon Knight lol.

In advertising, moonlighting is when an ad secretly works a second job.

It shows up like any drama or story, then goes through your specific problems without you knowing it's an ad, but at the end, they come with a CTA, "here's a link to a webinar, product or xyz"

Like an employee works 9 to 5 in the office and then does freelance work alone without showing up to the world.

He shows he has a day job, but he is secretly freelancing. That's also moonlighting.

And if you like this UNKNOWN but familiar marketing concept, let me know by replying to anything, cause I want to make these emails much better with your feedback, {{first_name|Bro}}.

Will wait for your reply, but first look at this ad with amazing copy👇
