Hey {{first_name|bro}},

The thing I'm gonna talk about is the next addiction of this digital world.

And don't worry, it's not BS porn stuff. But it's something in our everyday life that somehow grabs our attention.

Because it makes us spend our ATE: Attention, Time, and Energy.

It's so powerful that it takes over your mental space for hours.

It's nothing but:

THE DRAMA!

Not the circus kind. But political drama, social drama, and most importantly, movie drama.

When I was uploading content yesterday, a short drama popped up in my Instagram feed named "The Hidden King."

And it's not the first time. The algorithm knows my preference. I like content about money, power, and opposition.

So it showed me these related dramas.

The reel started with BIG EMOTION: ₹1500 crores in net worth for X, then Y, then the hero's entry as a hidden king, unknown to the public.

People think he's just a cleaner at a hotel where an event is happening.

The drama goes on. I got hooked.

I completed this 1-hour 30-minute drama in 30 minutes on YouTube afterwards.

Then realised: “Holy cow. I'm a copywriter, and still someone hooked me.”

And that's what that storyteller did. Made something so engaging you don't realise it until later.

You want to detach, but you want to complete the story.

So, write and hook so well that people read till the end.

Not with tricks. With emotion. With stakes. With "what happens next?"
