Yo,
As I said in one of my last emails, I met with a real estate millionaire.
So we booked the meeting. As you can see in the screenshot, it was marked at 6:00 PM.
So I had to get the Scooty from my sister to get there. It was around 5:20 when I was leaving home.
And I don't know when I'll get there because of traffic. So I estimated I will be there at exactly 5:55.
But the fucking Google Maps sent me through a different way, and I got late.
And the funny thing is, I was on time. Exactly on time.
Because I entered the real estate millionaire's hotel at 5:59 PM.
I asked the receptionist: "Where is your sir?"
Then he said, "He's on the second floor."
I didn't even take the left. I ran up the stairs.
And again, when I was on the second floor, I didn't know which room he was in. So I asked the security guard there: "Where is your sir?"
He said: "Here, in this room. Press the bell and call out."
So when I was about to press the bell, the time clicked.
The time is 6:00 PM.
Then I got there. And the owner saw me, and he was so happy seeing me, because I was on time, and I gave a promise. And I took action to maintain it.
So here's the thing: whenever you are doing business deals or meetings, just be on time. Not just on time, be early.
On time means you might be late or something could happen. So you should account for that beforehand.
If you are coming, just be there early. At least 10-15 minutes before.
Because you are valuing each other's time.
And that doesn't mean you come one hour before. No.
Minimum 5-10 minutes before be there, take a rest, then start the meeting.
That's how things should be done.
