Yesterday, I posted my earnings on every social media platform.
Within 24 hours, my DMs something look like this:
"How, bro?"
"How did you do this?"
"How how how?"
20+ messages. Same question.
So I replied: "I solve marketing problems for clients. Building skills for 2 years and still doing it. Posted daily on socials to build credibility. And got clients through content."
Their response: "But how, bro? How exactly?"
I explain again in more detail.
"Learn copywriting. Practice daily. Build portfolio. Post your work. Clients will reach out."
They reply: "Ok, but HOW?"
At this point, I realise they don't actually want to know.
They want a magic shortcut.
So I sent them my YouTube video, which I recorded in past. Explains everything step by step.
Then they reply: "Bro, why are you trying to sell me something?"
Wait. What?
YOU asked me "how." I gave you a free video.
And now you think I'm selling?
I realised most people who ask "how?" don't actually want the answer.
They want you to do it for them.
They want the result without the work.
The income without the effort.
And when you give them the real answer - "work for 2 years, post daily" - they get frustrated.
Because that's not the answer they wanted.
So here's what I do now:
Ask once? I answer.
Ask twice? I sent my video.
Ask three times? I ignore.
Because they're not looking for help. They're looking for magic.
And I don't sell magic. I sell work and action oriented advices.
