This morning, I was cleaning my messy room after 3 months.

During cleaning, I found a dusty document on my bookshelf. And I was like: “What was that? I didn’t remember about it?”

I opened it and saw this:

And suddenly, I time-travelled to my last day in high school, and I got a flash of all the good and bad memories in a moment.

Also, I have my ex here in this photo lol. Don't make a guess, and I will not tell it either.

But I had an interesting incident with her, which I will feel free to tell you. 

I was going to college with a Nokia keypad phone so I could contact my family in any emergency. 

One day, I was in a school bus with my lads exactly behind my ex. Everyone was pissed after classes, and they wanted to do something exciting.

Then I remembered I had my phone in my bag, and it makes more sound than a normal Android smartphone. And the music I saved in it would help everyone to overcome their boredom.

After I got this idea, I stood and said, “Listen up, laads, let's play some music.”

Everyone was excited and asking what music I had. But my ex said, "Uh uh, who came up with this phone in 2023?" 

Everyone laughed and ignored it.

But I took it deeply and went to the last seat of the bus while everyone was listening to music at the centre.

And I realised people care about status, either having an iPhone or a Rolex. Because they have the pressure of being presented well.

And the funny thing is: it’s the same with copywriting.

Status and ego are the ultimate wealth multipliers for any brand that knows how to use them.

Because people don’t buy products. They buy identity and status.

And if your copy touches that nerve, you don’t just get attention…

You get money.
