Yo,
The early-stage startups of companies like Tesla, Apple, and Facebook.
They all started from nothing and built something great.
And you know, what's the speciality of every founder in these big companies?
Before their companies became massive, these guys had an actual skill stack.
Wozniak could build the technology.
Zuckerberg could code.
Musk had already built and sold technology companies.
They didn't start with a fucking Notion document and call themselves founders in their X bio lol.
But…
The problem with new founders reaching out to me as leads they start saying:
"Bro, I'm building this. I'm building X. I want help with this."
When I ask, "How much have you built so far? When are you going to launch?"
They say: "We are in the planning phase."
I said: “F*ck you.”
SO RUDE!
Right?
Because you don't have f*cking skills. You don't know how to manage.
And why are you starting from zero when you don't have the skills to do anything?
I just say to them: "Bro, just first work on a single skill. And I guarantee that single skill will teach you so much that it will build a startup for you."
Because, having been in writing for more than 2.5 years, I can see the problems in the writing industry.
As being a writer and an SMMA founder, I can see the gaps in the SMMA space.
So I can build something with SMMA.
Right now, I'm focusing on building my skills, myself and my agency.
This is not something new or innovative; it's already proven. And I'm doing that.
And I know when I have money, I will invest in startups.
But…
I'm not interested in building a startup right now.
Because I am building my skills, which will take me further than anything else.
As a solo creator and founder right now, I know I will have a team eventually.
But if I already have a great advantage in content, why would I spend money to build a startup?
When I have money, I will be interested in investing in startups.
But I will not build one right now. It's not the right time for me.
And if you are the one who wants to build a startup, make sure you are good at one thing first.
You're good at coding — go all in.
You're good at designing — go all in.
You're good at development — go all in.
You're good at marketing and sales — go all in.
Or hire someone to handle the skill you don't have, or learn it yourself.
