Yo {{first_name|Bro}},

You open Instagram at night "just for 5 minutes."

Next thing you know, it's 2 a.m. on the wall clock. You went to the bathroom to pee.

And then you're just on your phone, and you don't even know what you watched for the next few hours.

I have been there too, and that's a very odd and addictive habit. So to switch it up, I came up with an idea.

Swapping that scroll for a book is actually one of the smartest things you can do.

And the 5 things I am gonna say might help you start reading books from tonight instead of scrolling :

1. Your brain needs to slow down.

Scrolling speeds your brain up. Reels, tweets, memes, one after another. Your brain never gets a break.

A book slows everything down like a slow-motion movie.

2. You actually sleep better.

Screens mess with your sleep. The blue light tells your brain it's still daytime.

A book does the opposite. 20 minutes of reading and you're actually tired and feel sleepy like you came from a long trip.

3. You remember stuff.

Nobody remembers what they scrolled last Tuesday. But a good chapter sticks with you for days.

And your brain holds onto stories way better than a random TikTok kid proposing to a granny-age lady as his wife.

4. You feel less anxious.

Scrolling is just comparison after comparison.

Someone's vacation. Someone's body. Someone's money.

Blahhhh…Blahhh.. & Blahhh..

But a book pulls you completely out of that world and makes you think and imagine in a different way.

5. You wake up different.

If your nights are spent reading books, it compounds, and six months later, you're an entirely different person in the way you think and speak.

If the same 6 months you scroll, you're in the same position you were 6 months before.

And your phone will still be there tomorrow on your table lol. So just disconnect and read books while you're in bed.
