Hey {{first_name|bro}},
I posted one travel reel and a bunch of posts on Instagram over the last 2 weeks.
Got decent views and shares.
Most of the people loved it. But nobody saw what happened before that.
30 hours of train travel to reach the spot.
Then, coming back home after 7 days of here and there, then 3 hours of juggling to post the best photos.
And the reel editing on top of that LOL. But something hit me while doing all of this.
Because I went through my feed, and everyone looks happy. Everyone looks like they just woke up at the perfect location with perfect lighting.
That got me thinking about why people actually post.
So I researched like a glowing light bulb is over my head & then I think with pen and paper for a while.
Then I come to a conclusion.
Some people post to maintain a status. And some people post to build a brand.
Those two things look identical on the surface. But they are completely different underneath.
Status players hide their struggles because they think it ruins their image. Brand builders show the struggle because that's what people actually connect with.
And the ones showing the real side are the ones building actual audiences.
So next time you open Instagram to post something, ask yourself which game you are actually playing.
