Hey {{first_name|Bro}},

The phrase "In the land of dumbasses, a smart ass is king" is so cringe.

And I got this line from the intro of Ben Settle's podcast. It's kind of his tagline, you know.

But I actually felt that phrase when I saw an ad from the Jaguar Car Brand sent by Copy John:

I was like: “WhAt ThE fUcK”?

You're selling a car, but there's no tone or branding about the car.

Just a picture of a car with a lady. And the headline is more like a condom ad, and the car made me think there would be some fun inside it with Jaguar Con*om.

In the comments, one guy even asked: "Are you guys selling cars?"

That was hilarious. 😂

The ad marketer is smart, but the audience he's selling to wasn't right at all.

So he sucks, {{first_name|Bro}}.

If you want to save yourself from situations like this in the future (hope you don't), talk to the right people in a tone and then read the ad below:

Every sales leader knows the feeling. You walk into a pipeline review with a number you believe in, and twenty minutes later, you're defending every line item to a CEO who just wants to know what's actually going to close.

HubSpot Sales Hub ends that conversation. Every deal, every rep's activity, and every buyer signal are all in one place and updated automatically. So your forecast is built on what's actually happening. And when you present that number, you can stand behind it.

If you have any queries, feel free to ask by replying to this email.

I will get back to you ASAP.
