Yo,
5 years ago, I still remember. I was so creepy.
Stalking a lot of profiles on Instagram and scrolling like a monkey with its playful banana, haha.
Whenever I found a good profile, I followed them. Then DM and then commented.
So I could get their attention.
But everything happened the opposite. One of my friends taught me, "Why are you following and unfollowing one of my friends?"
And his friend said: "Is that boy creepy?"
Lol, as a 15-year-old kid, I, with no control, got my lust and tongue so long that I realised that's how connections aren't built.
However, if you do something mindfully and strategically, then getting attention is not necessarily a bad thing.
Like someone mentioning, “It's Day 365, commenting on Andrew Tate's Threads to work with him as his best photographer, until they get a reply.”
So make sure when you're connecting: “Is it for good connections, and do you have any strong purpose behind it?”
Or you will end up like old me, who proved creepy to a lot of people.
Haha.
