Yo,
After spending over $250, most of the money goes to my video editor.
And without a doubt, she did so well.
Second, my social media manager, who was managing and also learning how social media works.
They are doing well. Doing everything as per my guidance. And both are also learning along the way.
But there is one lag, and it's my fault.
That is not having a proper system and spending money without knowing exactly what I was doing.
But what I'm grateful for: we got some kind of results after spending the money.
So we have some data and insights, which we will take and use accordingly going forward.
Because I realised, if we don't have a system, “what is the point of having a social media manager then?”
So I said to him: "Bro, you are doing well. I know you will come back again and work together again. But for now, just give me 2-3 months. Because I am also running out of money; I have a lot of expenses to handle."
He said: "Yeah, okay. Just take your time. Just let me know."
And I said it clearly to him: "When I have my system ready, I will get back to you. Because I trust you."
Because he is so loyal and willing to learn. That's what I found in him.
He might have a lot of problems. He might have family back-end things going on because we all have some kind of problems in life. But he is good.
From day one, he wanted to work with me. And that's a good mindset.
If you are building a team, if someone wants to work with you so badly, just bring them into your inner circle.
Test them & learn with them.
Anyway, I will not say the team is a cost. But I will say it's an investment in people and in the things we learn.
So if you are also spending money on a personal brand or for your clients, make sure you are learning something.
If you are not learning, it's a cost.
If you are learning, it's an investment.
