Yo,
As I said in my last email, I went to all these 5 shops, well-researched about branding and marketing.
But there's one thing I wasn't prepared for, which made me get scolded by a staff member of the local brand for 10 minutes.
About my education, smartness, and college lol.
So what exactly happened? I entered the shop for the 2nd time.
The 1st time was 3 days ago, where thunderstorming was happening, so I entered there to save myself.
There was only 1 staff member there, but no manager or owner.
So I did get the knowledge about the brand.
Then I was in recon mode on the 2nd visit.
But plot twist.
The staff was half asleep.
I asked: "Where's your owner?"
He said: "She comes only in the morning."
Me: "Cool."
Then he asked if I had work with her.
Me: "Why though?"
I said: "I have work with her."
"Like what??" (3 times)
So I said about marketing.
Then he said Take the number from that area.
And he was referring to the business cards on the table at the bill counter.
But I thought he was referring to the board there, where the number was hidden by some items.
So I asked him 3 times: "The number, that board right?"
He was like: "Yeah, yeah..."
So when I went and touched the board, he started:
"Who the hell are you?"
"Who gave you the permission to enter there?"
Again and again, bursting.
Just because he wasn't consciously listening, negative aura and misunderstanding in communication.
And I do have a fault too and will take it as a lesson: never go inside the billing area and stay within the boundary and safe line from branded shop places.
