As I said in my last challenge, I went and pitched 3 people on July 1, got rejected by one, and closed 2 clients.
One is from a sanitary business, and another is from a purse brand.
But the funny thing is, the purse brand owner said yes to me, but afterwards, he said no.
He's kinda cooked because the business is owned by his wife.
Because the purse brand and all the bag stuff is a very specific niche, and it's lady-oriented. So the ladies can sell it in a better way.
It made me realise: talk straight to the decision-maker. Don't waste time with non-decision guys.
So, I changed the process to 80% cold calls and 20% door-to-door.
Next, when I'm sure that the owner is there, I can go and contact him directly.
And where I'm not sure if the owner is there or not, I will go for the 80% cold call and 20% door-to-door ratio.
In this 20% door-to-door, I will get 80% of the results. And from those 80% cold calls, I will get 20% results.
So it's all a numbers and ratio game. Just have to keep playing it in the end.
And we don't have to quit.
