That's the exact thing the restaurant's general manager said to me.
But before that, let me give you the context of the scenario I was in:
So I am with my phone and tripod at the client location to record videos and short images for their social media.
But before that, I had to get permission from the head there.
I went to the manager and said, "I will start recording, can I?"
He said, "Cool, go and record, but make sure you're not disturbing guests, and don't enter the kitchen for shoots."
I nodded and went and shot.
And what I realised there could be a rule in the hotel to never let any outsider inside the kitchen because of the crowd and hygiene.
So that's a good tactic of theirs.
And maybe when I am doing their marketing for months, I might get the green signal to record videos in the kitchen too.
And it's the same for you: know your client's conditions and how the work should be done or not (especially the high-ticket guys).
Do listen to low-ticket, but most of their advice and suggestions are worst lol, but do listen when it needed.
