And have been on my email list for a while, you might have knowledge of the Purple Cow concept.
If you don’t, let me tell you in short: it means “To stand out.”
Cause in the land of black, white, brown, and mixed-colour cows, a purple cow is a winner and stands out.
It’s a fictional concept which I first heard from my copywriting buddy in our Discord community, VVS, while he was flexing his Purple Cow book by well-known marketer Seth Godin.
That’s what made me read this book. And after finishing it, I concluded:
“If I want to stand out in the market, I have to do some crazy stuff which no one else is doing in the market.
Either by personality or by creating something of my own.”
And creating something of your own is personality. Cause I would love to be a trendsetter rather than a trend follower.
It’s the same for you.
If you’re building any product or brand, make sure you know your USP.
And the way to differentiate yourself is to attract people and make them buy from you.
