Hey Bro,
This morning, I was checking my mom's bank account statements and saw an unusual transaction.
Someone transferred money out using our phone to one person.
I told it to my mom. She got worried, and I too.
And we can see the transaction ID and that person's phone number, and the money goes.
I called him with that number and went straight to the point: "Where are you from?”
He asked: “Where U are you from…”

Me: “There's a transaction happened from this account to your account by default. Did you receive the money?"
He got defensive. Cause he found my wording suspicious, which all the scammers do lol.
Then he cut the phone, and we realised he was not speaking the truth.
Tension was building in our home like a tsunami was coming with an alert.
Twenty to thirty minutes of back and forth. Then my mom remembered something.
She bought 45kg of rice yesterday. That was the transaction, lol.
We both burst out laughing.

We built up all that tension, almost accused that rice seller, and were ready to file a complaint lol.
And this is exactly what happens on cold calls.
You call a prospect. They seem defensive. They deflect your questions.
You think they're a bad lead. Then you panic and start pushing harder.
But most of the time, they're just busy. Or distracted. Or they genuinely forgot they signed up for something.

Most copywriters and salespeople kill deals in the first 60 seconds because they assume the worst before getting the full picture.
So, stop panicking about cold calls. Get curious before you get aggressive.
Ask one more question before you assume your call is about to end..
